Any and all personal data captured by byGarazi will be in line with the GDPR and UK data protection regulations.
My website can be used without providing any personal data and I do not have a mailing list.
byGarazi (also known as Garazi Gardner Photography) is the controller of the data that passes through this website or via email. This data is kept private between myself and a few other carefully selected data processors.
The personal data I retain from clients (and possibly other wedding attendees and wedding suppliers) who contact me are names, phone numbers, email addresses and social media links (sometimes postal addresses will be needed if shooting on location and/or sending hard copies of photographs). I also store photographs from all the shoots I've been hired to do. These files will be stored for as long as my back-up systems work so as to provide copies should the client lose or misplace their files. This service is provided as a legitimate interest. Should the client wish me to remove their photographs from my hard disks and backups after I have delivered the files, I will do so if they provide me with an email confirming their request.
I may also post photos I have taken on my website, on social media, in wedding blogs/magazines or other websites and to the other wedding suppliers of that wedding. My clients have the ability to opt out of these images being posted by contacting me via email.
I never capture any bank details, including credit or debit card numbers.
I do use some programmes that might require client data. These include WeTransfer and Dropbox (to send files through to clients), Folio or other album/product suppliers (they will have access to names and images to print), Google Suite (including emails and calendar) and Google Analytics (to monitor the functionality of my website - information kept for 14 months).
My clients' security is very important to me. I take all reasonable steps to ensure that data is held and processed securely.
